Every three years the Theosophical Society in America holds elections. This year, like most others, all eight candidates are running unopposed.
This concerns me and I believe it is an issue worth exploring. I applaud all eight candidates and have no reason to doubt their capacity to effectively govern. I only wish there were more people who wanted to serve in such a capacity.
Is this symptomatic of the organization’s lack of vitality?
Why don’t we have several candidates arguing for their particular vision of how to best guide the T.S.A. into the future? Why don’t we have people competing for their opportunity to participate in the process?
